Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly planning reviews with customer centers, align demand requirements, and confirm production commitments.
- Track monthly ordering flows and communicate forecasts to suppliers through digital planning platforms.
- Analyze forecast variances, assess supplier capacity and flexibility (short- and mid-term), and negotiate delivery commitments.
- Monitor supplier performance against defined KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Logistics partners to ensure timely material availability.
- Optimize transportation routes, manage inventory levels, and ensure lean, standardized, and well-documented planning processes.
- Map and document end-to-end planning processes using process flow tools and maintain knowledge repositories.
- Manage New Product Development (NPD) and Discontinuation (DN) processes to ensure smooth phase-in and phase-out of materials.
- Support and oversee supply chain-related project management activities.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning / Demand Planning / Procurement / Operations Planning
- Strong exposure to supplier coordination, capacity planning, and performance management
- Experience working in structured, process-driven supply chain environments
Required Skills & Tools:
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and planning/forecasting tools
- Familiarity with MES, supplier collaboration tools, or planning platforms is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Master's degree in Materials Management / Operations / Supply Chain will be an added advantage
