Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Procurement & Supplier Management


- Lead and manage the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring procurement activities align with organizational targets and compliance frameworks.

- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance to ensure consistent adherence to quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.

Inventory & Operations Management


- Design and implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock scenarios.

Oversee critical inventory parameters including:

- OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery

- Expiry and shelf-life management

- Obsolescence control and slow-moving inventory analysis

- Operate within an MRP-driven environment, leveraging SAP S/4HANA for procurement planning and inventory tracking.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor a team of 4 - 5 buyers, ensuring high performance, skill development, and adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across Sourcing, Production, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering to drive alignment, efficiency, and responsiveness.

- Participate in cross-functional initiatives including New Product Introductions (NPI) and Change Management, ensuring timely material availability and procurement readiness.

Analytics, Reporting & Cost Optimization:

- Analyze procurement and inventory KPIs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize working capital.

- Prepare and present periodic MIS reports for senior leadership, highlighting performance metrics, risks, and improvement plans.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing mid-sized teams.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and reporting.

- High proficiency in supply chain metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
