We are looking for Supply Chain Manager for One of the FMCG - Powai

About the Role

- As a Manager (Supply Chain) you will be at the heart of our logistics and distribution strategy. We currently fulfil all orders from our Mumbai warehouse, and this role will own two critical mandates: (1) build and scale a multi-city warehouse and last mile network across India, and (2) improve the current supply chain performance.

- You will be the link between demand signals, inventory planning, and on-ground logistics execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end PO lifecycle: Supply planning, PO creation, GRN tracking, and fill-rate analysis across channels.

- Drive warehouse network expansion: Analyse city-level sales and inventory data to identify and stand up new fulfilment nodes beyond Mumbai.

- Build and manage a last-mile vendor ecosystem: Onboard 3PL partners, define delivery SLAs, and track TAT performance rigorously.

- Monitor On-Shelf Availability (OSA) daily across all SKUs and cities; diagnose availability drops and trigger replenishment actions proactively.

- Build inventory health dashboards tracking Days of Inventory (DOI), frontend/backend stock levels, Daily Run Rate (DRR) trends, and expiry risk.

- Collaborate with sales and demand planning teams to align PO scheduling with platform promotional calendars.

- Root-cause fulfilment gaps: Analyse deficit quantities, diagnose PO state failures, and drive on-time delivery improvements with vendors.

- Set up SOPs for new warehouse nodes covering inbound, storage, and dispatch protocols.

- Take ownership of evolving supply chain priorities, demonstrating agility and adaptability in addressing new or ambiguous challenges with speed and impact.

Key Metrics You Will Own :

- OSA (On-Shelf Availability): Weighted % of SKUs in-stock across dark stores; directly drives offtake and platform ranking.

- PO Fill Rate: Units delivered (GRN) vs. units ordered; reflects fulfilment accuracy and reliability.

- Lead Time: Days from PO creation to GRN; impacts replenishment cadence and stock-out risk.

- DOI (Days of Inventory): Determines reorder frequency and working capital.

- Fulfilment Gap: Delta between ordered and received quantity, by city and SKU.

- Inventory Value: Working capital tied up in front-end and back-end inventory across the warehouse network.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's in engineering or related field from a tier-1 institution

2. 2-4 years of total work experience

3. Preferred from Warehousing Companies or Quick Commerce or Consulting companies managing Supply chain project.
