The Supply Chain Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving process standardization, performance management, and service excellence across logistics and warehousing operations.

This role will define and implement KPIs and governance frameworks for transport, warehousing, and distribution centers, ensuring alignment with global benchmarks and business objectives. The incumbent will also lead cost optimization, SAP/WMS rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver operational efficiency and best-in-class service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Network Management:

- Design and implement the primary transportation network, ensuring optimal cost, service levels, and load utilization.

- Review and optimize transportation lanes periodically to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Build and manage strong relationships with primary transporters, negotiating annual rate contracts and performance terms.

- Ensure >98% compliance in both transit adherence and on-time vehicle placement.

Warehouse Operations & Standardization:

- Lead the rollout of SAP-WMS implementation across identified warehouses in partnership with logistics service providers and regional logistics teams.

- Drive execution excellence in warehousing through lean management, value stream mapping, and process optimization.

- Develop and maintain SOPs for warehousing operations to ensure daily inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and quality parameters.

- Identify and document best practices to improve inventory turnover ratio and service levels across all DCs.

Performance Management & KPI Framework:

- Standardize logistics and warehousing KPIs in alignment with global standards.

- Develop a Supply Chain Dashboard capturing regional and national performance metrics, cost efficiency, and service levels.

- Conduct monthly reviews with senior management on performance trends, KPI updates, and improvement roadmaps.

Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

- Drive a pipeline of cost-saving initiatives, ensuring continuity of supply, quality improvement, and innovation in logistics operations.

- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for segmented service levels across sales channels (General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, and Institutional).

- Lead automation and digital transformation projects within the supply chain, partnering with IT and regional teams to deliver measurable benefits.

Capability Building & Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Develop frameworks for execution excellence and regional planning capability within logistics teams.

- Facilitate training and capability-building programs for Regional Logistics Managers (RLMs).

- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and planning to ensure alignment of logistics execution with business goals.
