Description:

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process for an e-commerce business from procurement planning and vendor management to logistics coordination and inventory control. This role ensures smooth product movement, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.

- Forecast material requirements based on sales trends and seasonal demand.

- Build strong relationships with logistics partners, 3PL providers, and vendors.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple fulfillment centers and dark stores.

- Monitor vendor performance and negotiate for competitive pricing and service quality.

- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment with minimal delays.

- Track freight and shipping costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, production, and customer service teams for seamless operations.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements using automation and analytics.

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 8-12 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in e-commerce or high-volume retail.

- Strong understanding of inventory planning, transportation, and last-mile delivery.

- Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and supply chain software.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Expertise:

- Hands-on experience in e-commerce supply chain operations, including fulfillment centers and hyperlocal delivery models.

- Knowledge of import/export processes and international shipping documentation.

- Ability to track KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Familiarity with automation tools, TMS, and digital transformation projects.
