What's special about this job: Our Supply Chain Analytics Team is a talented team whose work is focused on developing global and regional strategies to optimize production and distribution throughout our global Supply Chain network. The projects the team works on include supply chain modeling and analysis for the optimization of cost, service and inventory. This could include make vs buy analysis, manufacturing costing and capacity analysis, facility sizing and capacity, and distribution network analysis. This team is leading the strategic analysis to keep our organization lean and agile moving into the future. How you would contribute to the role: As a Supply Chain Analyst on the team, you will perform end-to-end supply chain analysis, including total operation cost minimization (manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, inventory, etc), transit time minimization, and location and site size selection. Utilizing your analytical skills, you will design and implement innovative global supply chain strategies, programs and practices that address capacity issues, reduce total supply chain costs, reduce inventory, reduce lead times and maximize customer service levels in support of global business growth. You will identify supply chain improvement opportunities and make the business case for new process implementation. In addition, part of your role will include conducting external benchmarking reviews and business process reviews to implement best practices and monitor and adjust programs as necessary. What skills and background will be important to be successful? - 2+ years of experience in either a Supply Chain or Manufacturing analytics role, or a Supply Chain Finance role. - Demonstrate the ability to characterize and quantify business impacts of problems and solutions using methods, logic, and language that are understandable to all levels of the enterprise. - Experience with ERP systems, preferably JDE. - Experience with optimization techniques for distribution, such as warehouse location costs vs. transportation costs, service level vs. carrying costs, etc. - Experience with supply chain modeling software, preferably Supply Chain Guru, is a plus. - Experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business.
