Manager - Supply Chain

Our client is a leading multinational conglomerate with fast and robust growth plans in Angola. The Supply Chain Manager will lead procurement and supply chain operations for a cosmetics and personal care manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes international purchasing and vendor management, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards.

Location-Angola (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

International Procurement (70%):

- Manage global sourcing and purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, and other essentials.

- Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with international suppliers.

- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.

Supply Chain Operations (30%):

- Oversee inventory management, logistics, and distribution processes.

- Collaborate with production and planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements across the supply chain.

- Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards for management review.

Must Have:

- Proven experience in international procurement and supply chain management.

- SAP knowledge is mandatory.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and handle cross-border operations.

- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) will be an added advantage.

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in international procurement.

- Prior experience in cosmetics, personal care, or similar FMCG industries is essential.
