Manager - Supply Chain

Description:

Responsibilities:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and boost operational efficiency.

- Oversee Production Planning (PPC) and ensure alignment with overall supply chain goals.

- Manage Materials Management, Vendor Management, Procurement Sourcing, Stores/Warehouse Operations, and Pan-India Logistics.

- Supervise 3PL/outsourced warehouse activities and monitor third-party performance.

- Handle multiple warehouses, ensuring effective stock replenishment and smooth inter-warehouse transfers.

- Coordinate local distribution, route planning, and milk-run operations for timely deliveries.

- Work closely with the planning team to achieve 100% order fulfillment on schedule.

- Collaborate with purchase and material planning teams to secure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production.

- Implement cost-control strategies across supply chain functions.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to strengthen sourcing capabilities.

- Apply expertise in vendor evaluation and maintain strong supplier relationships.

- Manage SCM inventory effectively with preferred knowledge of ERP systems.

- Maintain detailed records, generate analytical reports, and ensure compliance with legal documentation such as contracts and agreements.

Experience & Education:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management

- Graduate degree required; MBA in Supply Chain Management preferred
