Manager Strategy (Metal/ Mining/Manufacturing) - IIT /NIT Job Description: This role will report into CEO/Chairman Office and will be part of strategy team. Basic Job Role: This role requires strong technical acumen, experience with steel plant systems, and project management expertise. The role holder will have his fingers in critical role in the planning, coordination, and technical execution of projects involves managing complex engineering projects including greenfield or brownfield expansion, modernization, and process optimization.. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning, design review & execution of technical projects across organization. - Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, and in-house engineering teams for layout development, equipment selection, and technical documentation. - Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide inputs for capex planning and budgeting. - Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones using project management tools. - Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety, quality standards, and environmental norms. - Support procurement team in vendor evaluation, technical bid analysis (TBA), and contract finalization. - Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems. - Must have Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Work from Office Alternative Saturday off. Qualifications: Engineering from IIT /NIT(mandatory) with MBA
