Description: Act as a strategic advisor, operational leader, and execution partner to ensure that the Sales organization runs efficiently and delivers against business goals. This role bridges insights, strategy and execution overseeing critical initiatives, driving alignment across teams, improving processes, and enabling the Head of Sales to focus on strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Governance
- Oversee weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews for the sales leadership team.
- Ensure all reporting, dashboards, and performance insights are synthesized for the Head of Sales.
- Establish operating rhythms, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sales organization.
- Provide insights on sales performance, identify opportunities and risks, and provide strategies to improve performance.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Facilitate annual and quarterly sales planning processes.
- Drive cross functional alignment for strategic initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, and Operations.
- Track progress of key projects, identify risk areas, and ensure timely resolution.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the liaison between the Head of Sales and internal stakeholders (IT team, commercial, units, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.).
- Prepare briefings, pre-reads, and decision documents for meetings with senior leadership and external partners.
- Represent the Head of Sales in meetings when required.
Communication & Leadership Support
- Draft communication from the Head of Sales (internal updates, business announcements, strategic memos).
- Collaborate and collect inputs from internal teams (units, commercial teams, IT and support functions) to support meeting discussions and decision making
- Lead preparation of presentations, proposals, and executive updates.
Project Management & Special Initiatives
- Lead high-impact projects identified by the Head of Sales.
- Drive change management for new systems, processes, or initiatives.
- Ensure timely rollout of sales enablement programs, training, or playbooks.
Sales Operations & Salesforce CRM Leadership
- Lead the end to end Salesforce CRM lifecycle, including business requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement to enhance sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and data visibility.
- Manage the Sales Operations, Data Administration, and Salesforce Development teams ensuring strong data governance, data hygiene, and adherence to defined standards across all sales systems and reporting structures.
- Oversee and coordinate critical annual sales processes, including Target Setting, Annual Contracting and other cyclical planning activities, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and on time delivery.
