Manager - Statutory Bank Audit

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Manager specializing in Statutory Bank Audits to join our Mumbai office on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will manage statutory audits for banking clients, oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable banking audit regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage statutory bank audits from planning through completion.

- Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory and accounting standards.

- Ensure compliance with statutory bank audit requirements and guidelines.

- Conduct detailed financial audits and provide analytical insights to improve financial integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in accounting practices and reporting.

- Mentor and lead audit teams to achieve high-quality deliverables within deadlines.

- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients.

- Stay updated on banking regulations, auditing standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance (or equivalent relevant certification).

- Proven experience in conducting financial audits, preferably in the banking sector.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

- Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

- Ability to manage and lead audit teams effectively.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Experience in the banking industry is an added advantage.
