Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Manager for our Statutory Audit practice in Delhi and Mumbai to lead high-impact audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end audit lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, and local GAAP requirements. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, providing technical insights that enhance financial transparency and governance. By leading high-performing teams, you will drive the delivery of high-quality assurance services, directly influencing the financial integrity and regulatory standing of our clients' businesses. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex statutory audit engagements by managing planning, execution, and finalization phases to ensure timely delivery and adherence to professional standards.
- Interpret and apply Ind AS and IFRS accounting standards to complex financial transactions, providing clients with clear guidance on technical reporting matters.
- Mentor and supervise audit teams by delegating tasks, reviewing work papers, and fostering professional development to maintain high-quality assurance output.
- Manage client relationships by addressing audit queries, discussing findings, and providing value-added recommendations to improve internal financial controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless regulatory reporting and compliance with statutory filing requirements.
- Monitor engagement economics, including budget tracking and resource allocation, to ensure project profitability and operational efficiency.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Ind AS, IFRS, and GAAP, with a proven ability to resolve complex accounting issues and provide authoritative guidance.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of guiding diverse teams through high-pressure audit cycles.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to articulate complex financial concepts to C-suite stakeholders and build long-term client trust.
- Maintain a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the ICAI, backed by 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in statutory audit and assurance.
- Show high adaptability to hybrid work environments, balancing on-site client interactions with remote team coordination effectively.
- Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and regulatory compliance.
