Role Overview:

As a Manager in Statutory Audit, you will lead high-stakes audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of marquee clients, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting frameworks. You will serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing complex audit cycles while mentoring high-performing teams to deliver excellence. By providing deep technical insights and maintaining the highest standards of audit quality, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial transparency and building trust with investors, regulators, and the broader business community. This role is based in Bangalore and requires a strategic mindset to navigate intricate accounting challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale corporate clients to ensure accurate financial disclosures and adherence to regulatory requirements.

- Manage complex audit workflows and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit reports and financial statements.

- Provide technical guidance to engagement teams on complex accounting issues, including Ind AS, IFRS, and local GAAP, to ensure consistency and accuracy in audit findings.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with client management and audit committees to facilitate smooth audit processes and address business-critical concerns.

- Drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies and internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency for clients.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 5-9 years of post-qualification experience in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.

- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Statutory Audit, Assurance, and Regulatory Reporting, with a proven ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards.

- Exhibit exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing large teams and navigating high-pressure client interactions with professional maturity.

- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the audit process.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing on-site client visits with remote team collaboration to meet project milestones.
