Manager - Statutory Audit - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to join our Statutory Audit practice in Bangalore, focusing on delivering high-quality assurance services to a diverse portfolio of marquee clients. In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning to final reporting while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and firm methodologies. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, providing technical insights and resolving complex accounting issues. By mentoring high-performing teams and driving audit excellence, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial integrity and transparency of our clients' businesses, directly contributing to the firms reputation for quality and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale clients, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with statutory requirements.

- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and alignment with applicable GAAP and regulatory frameworks.

- Mentor and supervise audit teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback to foster professional growth and operational efficiency.

- Manage client relationships by proactively addressing audit queries and providing value-added insights on financial reporting and internal control improvements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to streamline audit processes and mitigate financial risks effectively.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Statutory Audit and Financial Reporting, with a comprehensive understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.

- Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to manage high-stakes client interactions and lead diverse audit teams toward project milestones.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 5-8 years of progressive experience in a Big 6 or top-tier audit firm environment.

- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the audit process.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing on-site client engagements with collaborative team sessions to maintain high productivity.
