Role Overview:

As a Manager in Statutory Audit, you will lead high-impact assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of marquee clients, ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance. You will act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing complex audit cycles while mentoring high-performing teams to deliver precise, insightful financial reporting. By bridging the gap between intricate accounting standards and business operations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing transparency and trust in financial markets, directly influencing the strategic decision-making processes of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and final reporting to ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory frameworks.

- Manage client relationships at the leadership level, addressing complex accounting queries and providing value-added insights to improve their financial reporting processes.

- Supervise and mentor audit teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth while ensuring all deliverables meet firm quality standards.

- Coordinate with cross-functional service lines to identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.

- Drive the resolution of complex audit issues by applying deep technical knowledge, thereby maintaining the firms reputation for audit quality and professional skepticism.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in IFRS, GAAP, and Indian Accounting Standards, with a proven ability to interpret and apply these to complex business scenarios.

- Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse teams and navigating high-pressure client environments with confidence.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 5 - 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm environment.

- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to C-suite stakeholders, ensuring alignment on audit findings and recommendations.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing on-site client engagements with collaborative team interactions to drive project success.
