Role Overview:
As a Manager in Statutory Audit, you will lead high-stakes audit engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for diverse clients while overseeing complex financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and local regulatory standards to maintain organizational compliance.
- Mentor and supervise audit teams during field work, providing technical guidance to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality audit reports and deliverables.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships by communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior management and board members.
- Execute detailed risk assessments and internal control evaluations to identify potential financial discrepancies and improve overall business processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external regulators to resolve complex accounting issues, ensuring seamless audit cycles and regulatory alignment.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Statutory Audit, GAAP, and financial accounting principles, with a proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory frameworks.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire high-performance teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the identification of financial risks and the development of strategic solutions for diverse business scenarios.
- Communicate complex financial information with clarity and confidence, building long-term credibility with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, reflecting a high standard of professional expertise and ethical rigor.
- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across distributed teams.
