Role Overview :
As a Manager in Statutory Audit based in Bangalore, you will lead complex audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of financial reporting and regulatory compliance. You will act as the primary point of contact for diverse client portfolios, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality audit opinions. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and regulatory requirements to maintain organizational compliance.
- Manage and mentor high-performing audit teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Interpret and apply complex GAAP and IFRS standards to client financial statements, ensuring accurate reporting and mitigating potential financial risks.
- Collaborate with senior client management and stakeholders to discuss audit findings, resolve complex accounting issues, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of audit procedures, ensuring that all documentation meets internal quality standards and external regulatory expectations.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in Statutory Audit and Accounting principles, with a deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS frameworks to navigate complex financial landscapes.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate audit teams, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent, backed by 5 to 9 years of progressive experience in a reputed audit firm.
- High degree of adaptability to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, maintaining productivity and team collaboration across distributed settings.
