Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to join our Assurance practice in Bangalore, focusing on high-stakes Statutory Audit engagements. In this role, you will lead complex audit assignments, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance for a diverse portfolio of marquee clients. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing engagement economics and guiding high-performing teams through the audit lifecycle. By delivering rigorous financial insights and maintaining the highest standards of professional skepticism, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the credibility of our clients' financial reporting and driving trust in the capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale enterprises, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and local regulatory frameworks to maintain audit quality.

- Manage engagement teams by providing technical guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of audits, ensuring all deliverables meet internal quality standards and client timelines.

- Cultivate strong relationships with client management and audit committees, proactively addressing complex accounting issues and providing value-added insights.

- Monitor engagement profitability and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Statutory Audit and IFRS, with a proven ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards to real-world business scenarios.

- Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, ideally backed by prior experience in a Big4 firm, reflecting a strong foundation in professional audit practices.

- Communicate complex financial information clearly and persuasively, both in writing and through high-impact presentations to board-level audiences.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing on-site client interactions with remote team collaboration to ensure project continuity and excellence.

- Bring 4 to 8 years of progressive experience in assurance, demonstrating a track record of managing high-value portfolios and delivering consistent results.
