Manager - Statutory Audit

Role Overview:

As a Manager in Statutory Audit, you will lead high-stakes audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring financial integrity and regulatory adherence. You will act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing complex audit cycles from planning through to final reporting. By leading high-performing teams, you will drive the delivery of high-quality assurance services, providing critical insights that help businesses maintain transparency, mitigate financial risks, and build trust with their shareholders and regulatory bodies. This role is pivotal in maintaining our firm's reputation for excellence and technical rigor in the Bangalore market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards to provide accurate financial reporting for clients.

- Manage and mentor audit teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality audit outputs.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters and regulatory updates.

- Oversee the audit documentation process, ensuring all work papers and reports meet internal quality benchmarks and external regulatory requirements.

- Identify and communicate significant financial reporting risks to management, providing actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.

Required Skillset:

- Possess an in-depth understanding of GAAP and statutory audit frameworks, with the ability to interpret complex accounting standards and apply them to real-world business scenarios.

- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering projects within tight deadlines.

- Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to articulate complex financial findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Maintain a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, reflecting a deep commitment to professional standards and technical proficiency.
