Role Overview:


We are seeking a high-performing Manager Sponsorships & Strategic Partnerships to own and scale sponsorship revenue for business and startup ecosystem events. This role sits at the intersection of revenue generation, partner strategy, and brand collaboration, and requires strong commercial acumen along with execution excellence.

The role offers end-to-end ownership of sponsor acquisition, deal structuring, stakeholder management, and long-term partnership building.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end sponsorship revenue targets across multiple events and initiatives

- Identify, prospect, and acquire sponsors aligned with event themes, audience profiles, and partner objectives

- Design sponsorship packages, pitch decks, and proposals tailored to different sponsor segments

- Lead commercial negotiations and independently close sponsorship deals

- Act as the primary relationship owner for sponsors across pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases

- Ensure fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables including branding, visibility, speaking slots, stalls, and digital assets

- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, design, and event execution teams to maximize sponsor ROI

- Prepare post-event performance reports, impact summaries, and ROI presentations to enable repeat partnerships

- Track market trends, competitor activity, and sponsorship innovations to identify new monetisation opportunities

Candidate Profile:

- 25 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or event monetisation

- Demonstrated track record of acquiring sponsors and closing commercial partnerships

- Strong exposure to proposal creation, pitching, negotiations, and deal closures

- Experience managing sponsor relationships across the full event lifecycle

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

- High ownership mindset with comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

- MBA / PGDM preferred

Additional Information:

- Role is based out of Mumbai and requires working from office

- Working days: 6 days/week

- Maximum acceptable notice period: 30 days
