Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sourcing Professional to manage procurement of marketing services, branding activities, IT hardware/software, and related services. The role involves developing vendor networks, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in service procurement, agency/vendor management, and IT sourcing, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Branding Sourcing:
- Source and manage agencies/vendors for advertising, media, events, creative design, and promotional activities.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
- Negotiate service contracts, retainers, and project costs to ensure maximum ROI.
- Monitor vendor performance on quality, timelines, and value delivery.
IT Procurement:
- Source and procure IT hardware, software, licenses, AMC, and digital tools.
- Negotiate with OEMs, resellers, and service providers for competitive pricing and support.
- Coordinate with IT team to ensure timely provisioning of systems and solutions.
- Maintain vendor database and AMC/license renewal tracker.
Vendor & Contract Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new service providers for marketing and IT requirements.
- Build long-term partnerships with strategic vendors.
- Ensure contracts, NDAs, and SLAs are reviewed, approved, and tracked.
- Periodically review vendor performance and take corrective actions where needed.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure sourcing complies with company policies, financial approvals, and GST/IT norms.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, POs, invoices, and vendor databases.
- Support internal audits with relevant documentation.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, IT, Finance, and Admin teams for requirement gathering and procurement planning.
- Provide cost benchmarks and market intelligence to stakeholders for better decision-making.
- Support management in budgeting and forecasting for marketing and IT spends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate Engineer, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA/PG in SCM preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in sourcing/procurement of marketing services, branding, and IT solutions.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract negotiation, and sourcing best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing/advertising industry costs and IT procurement cycles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ORACLE ERP systems, Procurement Sourcing Tool , Power BI Reports and contract management tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
