Role & Responsibilities:

- Should be able to lead & guide the assigned team of Sourcing & Suppliers Development for achievement of departmental & organizational plans. Setting & deploying long term/ short-term cost-effective sourcing & supply chain strategies based on business plans & implement the same.

- Identify and develop new suppliers for precision-machined components. Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality systems, and production capacity. Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking for outsourced machining processes. Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, process improvements, or vendor consolidation

- Responsible for sourcing of Engineering Component and Engineering Controls / Electrical drives of large size machines. Sourcing & procuring of import / local bought out parts Viz. Hydraulic, mechanical, electronics and electrical. Direct & Indirect procurement as per business needs.

- Responsible for supplier development, negotiations to warranty claims management with back-to-back warranty arrangements. Ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials & other services (i.e. Economically Cost effective, Cost Consistent with the best quality and service) required to produce Machine & Mold as per production plan.

- To provide the necessary expertise, advice, information for Vendor Development for existing as well as new projects/business. Developing and maintaining good buyer-seller relationship / good relationship with all stake holders.

- Review of progress & debottlenecking the issues to meet the customer requirements consistently & regular review of departmental SOP, systems & procedure & suggesting improvement as & when required.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification : Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

- Experience : 18 to 25 years of core supply chain management experience with 10 years in tool room/ machine building industry environment. Minimum 10+ years of experience of heading complete Sourcing & Supplier Development function.

Age : Between - 42-45 years

Experience in Capital equipment or project-based procurement like Mother Machines Selection, negotiation and purchase would be preferred.
