Social Media Manager
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
Seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead brand's digital storytelling and community growth. This role combines content creation, strategy, and analytics to build a strong, engaging presence across key social platforms in the beauty space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute end-to-end social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels
- Conceptualize and produce engaging, on-brand content including reels, short-form videos, static posts, stories, and captions
- Develop and manage content calendars in line with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trends
- Analyze performance metrics and audience insights to continuously optimize content and strategy
- Foster an active online community by engaging with followers through comments, messages, and interactive features
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and high-performing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, and creative teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
- Source, manage, and nurture relationships with influencers and content creators
- Capture real-time content during shoots, events, and brand activations
- Plan and execute paid social campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking
Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience managing social media, within the beauty or personal care industries only
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative content across multiple platforms
- Proficiency in social media analytics and performance optimization
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and management platforms
- In-depth understanding of beauty trends, audience behavior, and digital culture
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product styling and visual storytelling, particularly in the beauty category
- Knowledge of SEO, hashtag strategy, and content discoverability techniques
- Experience executing influencer marketing campaigns and long-term collaborations
- Understanding of paid social advertising and campaign optimization
- Strong community management skills with a customer-first mindset
