Overview of the Role Social Media -Manager:


Location: India, Gurgaon


Job Description:


As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms to build brand awareness, engage our audience, and enhance client and industry relationships.


This role requires a deep understanding of global digital trends and the ability to create content that resonates with diverse audiences across North America, Asia, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Social Media Strategy & Planning:


- Develop, implement, and optimize a global social media strategy aligned with our business objectives, target audience, and branding guidelines.


- Analyze current social media trends and competitor activities to continuously evolve the strategy.


2. Content Creation & Management:


- Design and curate engaging, industry-relevant content (posts, graphics, videos, etc.) tailored to platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.


- Collaborate with the Marketing, PR, and Design teams to ensure content aligns with our branding, voice, and key messaging.


3. Audience Engagement & Community Management:


- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and maintain a positive brand image by managing interactions professionally and promptly.


- Develop initiatives to increase engagement, followers, and reach across all channels.


4. Campaigns & Analytics:


- Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to promote products, events, and brand initiatives, monitoring ROI and adjusting tactics as necessary.


- Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement in strategy and performance.


5. Brand Advocacy & Thought Leadership:


- Leverage our CEO's social media presence to amplify thought leadership and increase brand visibility.


- Collaborate with the PR and Marketing teams to highlight industry awards, client success stories partnerships, and company milestones.


6. Global Trends & Compliance:


- Stay updated on global social media trends, algorithm changes, and digital marketing best practices.


- Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant industry and regional regulations, especially around privacy and data protection.


Qualifications:


- MBA in Marketing & Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.


- 4+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a B2B or IT environment with global exposure.


- Proven experience developing successful social media strategies and campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.


- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting ; proficiency in tools like Canva or similar.


- Excellent analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).


- Knowledge of social media trends and best practices globally, especially in North America and India.


- Strong organizational and project management skills.


- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
