Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Head to lead and scale the digital and social media presence of a fashion-focused retail brand. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, data-driven execution, and community building.

The ideal candidate will own the brands social narrative across platforms, drive engagement and growth, and collaborate closely with marketing, design, e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure consistent and impactful brand communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and business goals.

- Define platform-wise strategies for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

- Plan monthly and quarterly content calendars focused on fashion, trends, campaigns, and launches.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

- Lead creation of engaging fashion-led content including reels, videos, static posts, stories, and campaigns.

- Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling across platforms.

- Collaborate with designers, photographers, stylists, and agencies for high-quality content output.

Community & Engagement Management

- Build and nurture an active online community by driving conversations, engagement, and interactions.

- Manage comments, DMs, and community queries to strengthen brand loyalty.

- Identify and leverage trending topics, moments, and cultural conversations relevant to fashion.

Influencer & Creator Collaborations

- Identify, onboard, and manage influencers, creators, and fashion collaborators.

- Execute influencer campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and conversions.

- Track performance and ROI of influencer partnerships.

Performance Tracking & Analytics

- Monitor and analyze social media performance using insights and analytics tools.

- Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, growth, CTR, and conversions.

- Optimize content and campaigns based on data-driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, retail, PR, and brand teams.

- Support product launches, campaigns, and retail activations through social amplification.

- Align social media efforts with overall digital and marketing initiatives.

Key Performance Areas (KRAs)

- Growth in followers and engagement rates

- Content performance and campaign effectiveness

- Community engagement and brand sentiment

- Influencer campaign ROI

- Consistency in brand voice and visual identity

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have

- 5 to 7 years of experience in social media management, preferably within fashion / lifestyle / retail brands

- Strong understanding of fashion trends, digital culture, and consumer behavior

- Hands-on experience managing brand social handles end-to-end

- Proven ability to combine creativity with analytics

Good-to-Have

- Experience working with D2C or omnichannel retail brands

- Exposure to performance-driven social campaigns

- Agency management experience
