Role Description:
As the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing our organization's social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This hands-on role requires a blend of creative content development and analytical optimization skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of all active social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.).
- Content Strategy & Creation: Develop, curate, and manage engaging and original content (text, image, and video) that aligns with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads.
- Optimization & Engagement: Actively monitor and optimize the social media presence, including community management, responding to comments/messages, and fostering a strong online community.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize social media analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze performance data, generating actionable insights to refine and improve future campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and support integrated marketing initiatives.
- Storytelling & Branding: Employ strong storytelling techniques to humanize the brand, build loyalty, and strengthen brand equity across all digital channels.
Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in digital marketing.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in social media marketing and management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing.
- Proven experience in Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques.
- Proficiency with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, platform-native insights).
- Experience in managing and scaling multiple social media platforms simultaneously.
Soft Skills:
- Strong content strategy and conceptualization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be an exceptional writer and editor.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate complex metrics into clear, insightful recommendations.
- Experience in storytelling and branding.
- Ability to thrive and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration).
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns (PPC).
