Position: Senior Delivery Manager Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead and drive the successful delivery of complex software projects across global teams. The ideal candidate will have risen through the technical ranks, starting as a developer and evolving into a leadership role, demonstrating a deep understanding of software engineering principles, project delivery, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead cross-functional software development teams in the successful design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications. - Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across varied technology stacks (Java/.NET, relational and non-relational databases). - Work closely with clients, stakeholders, product owners, and technical architects to ensure alignment of delivery with business goals and technical standards. - Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of project delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, timely delivery, and effective resource utilization. - Promote Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle. - Drive automation across testing, integration, and deployment pipelines to enhance efficiency and consistency. - Ensure smooth communication and coordination across geographically distributed teams. - Proactively manage risks and issues related to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies. Technical Skills & Experience: - 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and delivery leadership roles, with a strong foundation in application development. - Proven experience working in Java or .NET environments, with hands-on familiarity in software design, coding, and architecture. - Deep understanding of database systems, with practical experience in one or more of the following: SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, CITUS, or similar. - Strong exposure to message streaming/queuing technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), and automation frameworks like Selenium. - Experience in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - including knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native solutions. - Awareness and conceptual understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and AI/ML ecosystems. - Familiarity with modern software development practices including Agile (Scrum/Kanban), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Soft Skills & Leadership: - Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and grow high-performing teams. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivery excellence.
