Hiring for a leading life insurance client based at Mumbai

Role: Manager/Senior Manager - Valuation (Actuarial)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Timely submission, detailed checking and analysis of reserves movement every month, including explanation of reserves difference from projection.

- Timely submission, detailed checking and analysis of solvency ratio movement every month.

- Presenting the analysis to Appointed Actuary and other senior management team.

- Overview of Prophet model changes UAT done by the team.

- Helping team in building conceptual clarity.

- Preparation of annual IRDAI submission - ARA, AAAR, Form and other submissions.

- Coordinating with auditors and peer reviewer during the annual year end reporting review.

- Resilience testing of solvency position for both Board and IRDAI reporting.

- With Profit Committee reporting - Detailed analysis of bonus supportability for Annual Participating Bonus declaration exercise. Preparation of With Profit committee report.

Education/Experience

- Graduation with at least 9 months of internship experience upto 2 years - in valuation or reporting

- Mandatory experience in direct life insurance companies,

- Exposure in prophet is mandatory

- At least 5 actuarial papers as per old curriculum
