Manager/Senior Manager - Statutory Audit - Financial Sector - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Assurance practice as a Manager/Senior Manager, focusing on Statutory Audit within the Financial Services sector. In this capacity, you will lead complex audit engagements for marquee banking and financial institution clients, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory frameworks and reporting standards.

You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing high-performing audit teams to deliver seamless, high-quality audit outcomes. Your work will directly influence the financial integrity of our clients, providing the assurance and transparency necessary for them to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape in Mumbai and Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale banking and financial sector clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Oversee the execution of audit procedures in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of financial compliance.

- Manage and mentor diverse audit teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth to meet project delivery timelines.

- Collaborate with senior client management and internal stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues and provide value-added insights on financial controls.

- Drive the quality of audit documentation and reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet the firm's rigorous risk management and quality control protocols.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a deep functional understanding of Statutory Audit processes within the banking and financial services domain, backed by a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

- Demonstrate technical proficiency in applying IFRS and other relevant accounting standards to complex financial instruments and banking operations.

- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

- Show a proven ability to navigate high-pressure environments, maintaining attention to detail while managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, leveraging digital audit tools and collaborative platforms to maintain team productivity across our Mumbai and Chennai offices.

- Bring 5 to 14 years of progressive experience in audit and assurance, specifically within the financial sector, to provide strategic oversight and technical guidance.
