Role Purpose:
We are seeking a Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead project execution and commissioning for PMC and EPC projects across biogas and renewable energy sector.
This role is delivery-focused and responsible for managing projects from engineering handover through construction, commissioning, and final project close-out.
The Manager / Senior Project Manager will closely collaborate with the Head of Design & Engineering, while remaining fully accountable for site execution, contractor management, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and commissioning performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Prepare detailed project execution and commissioning plans in coordination with Engineering, Procurement, and Site teams.
- Optimize sequencing, resources, and interfaces to ensure constructability and commissioning readiness.
- Develop execution and commissioning strategies aligned with approved scope, schedule, and business objectives.
Project Delivery:
- Lead end-to-end project execution from engineering handover through construction, commissioning, and final handover including claim management.
- Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery meeting quality, performance, and client requirements.
- Drive issue resolution, progress control, and milestone achievement across all work fronts.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary execution-phase interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Design & Engineering to resolve site and interface issues.
- Ensure transparent communication, reporting, and alignment among all stakeholders.
Risk & Cost Control:
- Identify execution, commissioning, and interface risks; implement effective mitigation measures.
- Control project costs, cash flow, and billing milestones during execution.
- Manage variations, claims, and scope changes in coordination with commercial teams.
People Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and direct project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and commissioning teams.
- Build a performance-driven site culture with clear accountability and ownership.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects to meet delivery commitments.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, statutory regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Enforce safety systems, permits, and site governance to achieve incident-free execution.
- Ensure proper documentation, commissioning records, and handover dossiers.
