About the role:
The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end PMS operations, including accounting, trade settlements, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong knowledge of PMS and fixed income operations with a high level of accuracy and regulatory awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting of daily inflows and outflows.
- Preparing and maintaining security masters and opening new accounts in Wealth Spectrum.
- Trade settlement activities including confirmation of deals with custodians and accounting of settlements.
- Performing checks and procedures for fixed income deal settlements across systems such as CBRICS, NDS, and E-Kuber.
- Managing corporate actions including interest, redemption, IPOs, and new issues related to G-Secs, SDLs, and corporate bonds.
- Conducting daily reconciliation of securities and cash.
- Preparing cash flow statements based on inflows and outflows.
- Handling regulatory reporting and statutory filings related to PMS.
- Preparing MIS and client-specific operational reports.
- Coordinating with outsourced vendors such as fund accountants, custodians, bankers, and RTAs.
- Preparing specified financial statements, analysis, and operational reports for assigned portfolios or clients.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- CA / MBA / MMS / PGDBA
- 8 -10 years of experience in PMS or Mutual Fund Fixed Income Operations
Desirable:
- AMFI and/or NISM Certification
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of PMS operations and accounting
- Hands-on experience in fixed income settlement processes
- Familiarity with settlement systems such as CBRICS, F-TRAC, NDS, EBP, and E-Kuber
- Experience working with Wealth Spectrum or similar PMS / MF systems
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication
