Job Title: Sr. Manager/Manager Operations.
Location: Gurugram (Hybrid).
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager / Senior Manager with a strong Life Insurance and Annuity background to lead teams, drive service excellence, and manage complex financial operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage team leads and associates supporting Life Insurance and Annuity operations.
- Drive performance through goal setting, feedback, and formal performance reviews.
- Own daily operational delivery, SLAs, quality, and risk controls for financial transactions.
- Act as the escalation point for complex client, agent, and distributor issues.
- Partner with IT, Compliance, Product, and Operations to improve systems and workflows.
- Identify risks and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of combined financial services experience.
- 2+ years of people management experience in a financial services environment.
- Strong Life Insurance and Annuity operations experience (required).
- Solid financial domain knowledge, including regulations and transactional risk management.
- Hands-on experience with redemptions, exchanges, RMDs, systematics, and complex service transactions.
- Experience across annuity administration, life insurance administration, new business, or customer service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
