Manager/Senior Manager - Network Operations - Quick Commerce

We are looking to hire a Manager / Sr. Manager Quick Commerce Network Operations for Purplle, based in Mumbai.

Purplle is one of Indias leading omnichannel beauty platforms, operating a fast-growing quick commerce network powered by micro-fulfillment centers, enabling rapid delivery and high operational efficiency across the supply chain.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

- This role will be responsible for end-to-end network operations across Purplles Quick Commerce ecosystem, including warehouse operations, fulfillment efficiency, network expansion, and process optimization.

- The role requires strong expertise in supply chain, warehouse management, and high-speed e-commerce operations, with a focus on scalability, cost efficiency, and service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations Management & Execution:

- Oversee daily operations across the quick commerce network ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment

- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, product quality, and fulfillment precision

Manpower & Material Planning:

- Plan workforce and material requirements to ensure efficient and lean operations

- Monitor operational metrics and drive improvements using data insights

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, and internal teams to align operations with business goals

- Drive execution of strategies focused on throughput, agility, and cost optimization

- Warehouse Expansion & Network Scaling

- Lead expansion of warehouses and micro-fulfillment centers

- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to support network growth

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a key liaison across sourcing, logistics, and cross-functional teams

- Ensure seamless coordination and communication across stakeholders

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

- Track and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

5-10 years of experience in e-commerce operations / supply chain / network operations

Strong experience in:

- Warehouse operations and fulfillment

- Quick commerce / last-mile operations

- Network planning and scaling

- Inventory and logistics management

- Experience with WMS and inventory systems preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent stakeholder and team management capabilities

- Educational background in Engineering / Business / Supply Chain preferred

IMPORTANT NOTE:

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in high-speed e-commerce or quick commerce environments, who have managed warehouse networks, fulfillment operations, and scaling challenges, not purely planning or support roles.

This is a critical operations leadership role, directly impacting delivery speed, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
