About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced Manager - Senior Manager Management Consulting professional with expertise in power sector tariff matters, regulatory affairs and electricity distribution utilities.

The selected professional will manage tariff - related consulting assignments, including preparation and filing of Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR), Multi - Year Tariff (MYT) and True - up petitions, financial and tariff modelling, regulatory compliance and representation - related documentation before Electricity Regulatory Commissions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review and submit ARR, MYT, tariff and True - up petitions for electricity distribution utilities.

- Conduct tariff and financial analysis covering power purchase costs, transmission and wheeling charges, distribution losses, Aggregate Technical & Commercial (AT&C) losses, subsidy requirements, regulatory assets and carrying costs.

- Prepare responses to regulatory deficiency notes, stakeholder objections and compliance requirements.

- Interpret and apply tariff regulations, tariff orders and regulatory amendments issued by State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERC), Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and Ministry of Power (MoP).

- Conduct regulatory due diligence, policy analysis and fuel cost - related assessments for government and private power utilities.

- Develop financial models, regulatory reports, analytical notes, concept papers and management presentations.

- Monitor developments in electricity regulations, tariff policies, power procurement and renewable energy integration.

- Coordinate with electricity distribution companies, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.

- Manage multiple consulting assignments while ensuring timely and high - quality deliverables.

- Support client meetings, regulatory proceedings and project execution activities.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong hands - on experience in ARR, MYT, True - up petitions and tariff determination.

- Expertise in power sector financial modelling and tariff analysis.

- Understanding of electricity distribution utilities, DISCOM operations and regulatory frameworks.

- Knowledge of SERC/CERC regulations, tariff orders and electricity - sector policies.

- Experience in preparing regulatory filings, petitions and compliance documentation.

- Exposure to regulatory consulting assignments involving electricity commissions, government utilities or private power distribution companies.

- Strong analytical, research, report - writing and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple regulatory assignments and client stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Education: B.Tech with MBA; preference for Finance, Power or Energy Management specialization.

- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in power sector tariff and regulatory matters.

- Practical experience in ARR, MYT, True - up and tariff modelling assignments.

- Previous experience working with electricity distribution utilities, regulatory commissions or power sector consulting organizations.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem - solving skills.

- Willingness to travel for project execution and client engagements.
