Role Overview:

This Loan Syndication/Bank Debt-Assets Servicing (Geneva) - Manager/Sr Manager role is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end servicing of syndicated loans and bank debt assets, with a strong focus on utilizing the Geneva platform.


The role involves working closely with front-office loan syndication teams, operations, technology, and external clients to ensure accurate and timely processing of loan transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity, adhering to Geneva banking regulations, and optimizing the efficiency of loan servicing operations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the complete lifecycle of syndicated loans and bank debt assets within the Geneva platform, ensuring accurate data capture and processing.

- Oversee the reconciliation of loan positions, cash flows, and transactions between Geneva and other internal and external systems, resolving discrepancies promptly.

- Ensure compliance with Geneva banking regulations and internal policies related to loan servicing and reporting, mitigating operational risk.

- Collaborate with front-office loan syndication teams to support deal structuring, pricing, and closing activities, providing expertise on loan servicing capabilities.

- Analyze loan documentation, including credit agreements and amendments, to accurately reflect terms and conditions in the Geneva system.

- Process and reconcile PAY DOWN transactions, ensuring accurate allocation of principal and interest payments to lenders.

- Generate and review various loan servicing reports, including portfolio performance, compliance, and regulatory reports, for internal and external stakeholders.

- Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness in the Geneva system.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of loan servicing operations, leveraging automation and technology solutions.

- Provide training and support to junior team members on Geneva functionality, loan servicing processes, and regulatory requirements.

- Utilize WSO (Wall Street Office) for data management and reporting related to loan portfolios.


Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in loan syndication and bank debt asset servicing operations.

- In-depth knowledge of the Geneva platform and its application to loan servicing.

- Proven ability to perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in loan data.

- Strong understanding of Geneva banking regulations and compliance requirements.

- Excellent financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret loan documentation and analyze cash flows.

- Proficiency in processing PAY DOWN transactions and allocating principal and interest payments.

- Experience with WSO (Wall Street Office) for loan portfolio management and reporting.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- 12-20 years of relevant experience.
