Hiring for a leading life insurance client based at Mumbai.
Role: Key Account Manager / Senior Key Account Manager
Department: Credit Life
Role Summary:
This role focuses on driving B2B/institutional sales, acquiring new partners, managing high-value corporate relationships, and enabling partner technology integrations to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Partner Acquisition:
- Drive institutional, B2B, and corporate sales specifically focused on Credit Life and related insurance products.
- Acquire new accounts by applying robust networking skills, carrying out negotiations, conducting due diligence, and enabling decision-making to ensure swift closures.
- Achieve assigned business targets and identify new opportunities within the business space through self-driven initiatives and various business levels.
- Follow up aggressively for closures and ensure smooth onboarding of new partners.
Relationship Management & Customer Orientation:
- Network and manage relationships with key corporate clients at senior and middle management levels to develop and expand business opportunities.
- Maintain and nurture existing relationships, ensuring partnerships run smoothly and effectively.
- Initiate client engagement activities and conferences, providing tailored solutions and value propositions based on customer needs.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
- Analyze, decipher, and present complex business issues or new opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Initiate and manage planning and strategy to achieve core business objectives as a vital team member.
- Manage business planning, budgeting, and the analysis of business performance.
Excellence & Tech Enablement:
- Drive partner tech enablement to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict implementation of company processes across all lines of business.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:
Education:
- MBA or Post-Graduation (Tier I & II+ and II institutes preferred).
- Candidates with an underlying technical background are highly preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, or account management.
- Must have specific experience in Life Insurance, Credit Life, or the broader BFSI sector.
- Strong preference for candidates with a proven background in Credit Life or general Insurance.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Go-Getter Attitude: Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to analyze data, decipher trends, and present strategic opportunities.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong tech skills for partner enablement, highly proficient in working with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Relationship Building: Excellent at account mining, relationship building, and delivering client-focused solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and networking capabilities.
- Attention to Detail: High precision in negotiations, due diligence, and process implementation.
