Role Overview:

The Manager / Sr. Manager - Internal Audit role is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits across the organization's various functions and locations. This role collaborates closely with process owners, department heads, and senior management to identify risks, assess controls, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and financial integrity. The position is based in Delhi and requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on a risk assessment framework, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.

- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls, including SOX compliance, and recommend enhancements to mitigate risks.

- Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management's responses.

- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress towards remediation.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to continuously improve the internal audit function.

- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate their work and ensure efficient completion of the external audit process.

- Provide guidance and training to process owners on internal control best practices and compliance requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute internal audits, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and report writing.

- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, SOX compliance requirements, and auditing standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks and recommend effective solutions.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
