Manager/Senior Manager - Insurance Claims

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end renewal of all group-level insurance policies (property, asset, liability, and employee-related), ensuring timely coordination with all departments to eliminate coverage gaps.

- Liaise and negotiate with insurance brokers, channel partners, and insurers to obtain competitive quotations, finalize terms & conditions, and optimize coverage at best cost.

- Review and validate policy documents and endorsements to ensure accuracy of coverage, limits, deductibles, warranties, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain and monitor a comprehensive Insurance Renewal MIS, tracking due dates, sums insured, key clauses, endorsements, and claim status.

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual insurance reports covering premium outflow, coverage details, renewals, and claims performance.

- Ensure timely processing of proforma invoices and premium payments in coordination with the finance team.

- Coordinate periodic valuation of properties and critical assets to ensure adequacy of sums insured and mitigate underinsurance risk.

- Manage end-to-end claims process including intimation, documentation, liaison with surveyors/insurers, tracking TATs, and ensuring timely settlement.

- Drive process improvements, strengthen documentation, and maintain audit readiness.

- Working knowledge of SAP for policy tracking, payments, and reporting is essential.
