Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-impact HR leader to drive strategic HR initiatives, HR process reengineering, and end-to-end payroll operations. This role is critical in enhancing organizational effectiveness through best-in-class HR practices, robust project execution, and strong governance.
The incumbent will act as a strategic executor and project leader, responsible for designing and delivering transformation initiatives with measurable ROI and minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Initiatives:
- Conceptualize and execute industry-benchmarked HR initiatives (e.g., talent mobility, DEI, employee experience, HR digitization).
- Benchmark HR practices against leading global and sector peers.
- Build transformation roadmaps with clear milestones, risks, and success metrics.
HR Process Reengineering:
- Map, analyze, and redesign HR processes for efficiency, automation, and scalability.
- Apply Lean / BPM methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce cycle time and cost.
Payroll Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, etc.).
- Manage payroll vendors, audits, system integrations, and control frameworks.
Project, Budget & ROI Management:
- Own budgets for HR initiatives and ensure cost optimization.
- Lead cross-functional execution with strong timeline governance.
- Track KPIs and measure ROI; present insights to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior leaders, employees, consultants, and vendors.
- Provide clear communication, progress updates, and actionable insights.
Success Metrics:
- 25%+ improvement in HR process efficiency
- Zero payroll discrepancies
- Delivery of at least two high-ROI HR initiatives annually
Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in HR / Business Administration or related field
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management preferred
Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Prior exposure to HR transformation initiatives and payroll operations preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven project management capability
- High attention to detail and process orientation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong MS Office proficiency
- Ability to multitask and deliver under tight timelines
