Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized financial professional to lead our Finance and Accounts function. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of core accounting principles, statutory compliance, and corporate taxation. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring the absolute integrity of financial transactions, robust cash flow management, and optimal tax positioning while driving efficiency through standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Operations & Bookkeeping: Plan, direct, and closely monitor day-to-day bookkeeping operations and all financial transactions.

- SOP Development: Formulate, implement, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the finance department, continuously reviewing operations to maximize efficiency and control.

- Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors; cooperate fully by providing required reports, background documentation, and structural clarifications.

- Financial Reporting & Analytics: Independently drive the finalization of the books of accounts and oversee the accurate preparation of financial statements.

- Management Reporting (MIS): Analyze corporate financial performance, report critical variances or issues directly to senior management, and offer strategic suggestions for operational and financial improvement.

- Forecasting & Modeling: Prepare periodic projected financial statements by analyzing the core business model, backed by thorough variance analysis to guide future business decisions.

- Treasury & Taxation: Administer banking transactions and manage organizational fund flows to optimize working capital.

- Banking & Compliance: Coordinate directly with bank officials to handle various corporate compliances and credit requirements.

- Statutory Compliance: Oversee complete adherence to statutory reporting mandates, keeping up-to-date with provisions under the Income Tax Act, GST laws, and the Companies Act.
