Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Finance & Accounts
We are looking for an experienced finance leader to drive financial performance across manufacturing operations while partnering with business and plant leadership. The role will be responsible for strengthening financial controls, improving operational profitability, managing capital efficiency, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a finance business partner to manufacturing and plant leadership, providing actionable financial insights to improve operational performance.
- Monitor plant-level financial performance, including production costs, overheads, material consumption, inventory movements, and margin analysis.
- Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze product and project profitability, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend measures to improve overall business performance.
- Lead working capital optimization initiatives by monitoring inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow.
- Manage treasury activities, banking relationships, fund planning, and financial risk associated with business operations.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee internal controls, financial governance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across finance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capex planning, project evaluation, and investment analysis for expansion initiatives.
- Support ERP optimization and digital finance initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, driving capability building, process improvements, and a culture of accountability.
Eligibility:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Proven experience in manufacturing finance, plant finance, or commercial finance.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and profitability analysis.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing banking relationships, treasury, and working capital.
- Prior experience leading finance teams and collaborating with senior business stakeholders.
Preferred Industry:
- Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Solar, EPC, Engineering, Industrial Equipment.
