Description: We have been mandated by a large conglomerate in to freight forwarding for the below mentioned position.
Position Name: Manager/Sr. Manager Finance & Accounts (Freight Forwarding)
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Qualification: Chartered Accountant
Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with minimum 3 years in industry / logistics / freight forwarding company.
IT Skills: MS office-Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP HANA
Other Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Confident enough to handle the team of 2/3, must be good in MIS Preparation
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities / Duties to be Performed:
- Hands-on SAP FI / or, similar accounting systems
- Supervision of Accounts Payables (Suppliers)
- Supervision of Accounts Receivables (Customers)
- Dealing with the banks, esp. foreign receipts and payments
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Periodical MIS, esp. customer-wise profitability of services provided to exporters and importers;
- Supervising regular matching of revenue with direct expenses
- Timely accounting of all indirect expenses
- Attending to gaps in reconciliation of CGST/SGST/IGST accounts. Esp. ITC claim and avail-ment
- Finalization of annual accounts
- Coordination with the Statutory / Tax Auditors
