Manager/Senior Manager - Domestic Equity Research - Buy Side

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on Indian listed companies across assigned sectors (e.g., BFSI, FMCG, Pharma, Auto, etc.).

- Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance.

- Track sectoral trends, competitive positioning, and key industry drivers impacting stock performance.

- Prepare initiation reports, earnings updates, and investment recommendations for the internal investment team.

- Evaluate and identify potential investment opportunities aligned with portfolio strategy.

- Liaise with company management, attend analyst calls, and investor meets.

- Support portfolio managers with actionable insights, valuation analysis, and investment theses.

- Monitor market and macroeconomic developments affecting the assigned coverage universe.

- Collaborate with the trading and portfolio management teams to optimize execution and portfolio positioning.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic equity research, preferably buy-side

- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, relative valuation, etc.) and financial modeling.

- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and report-writing skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and financial databases.

- Passion for equity markets and long-term investing.
