Job Title: Senior Manager - Direct Tax Location: Delhi (Work from Office) Experience: 7+ Years Industry: Consulting / Tax Advisory / CA Firm Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager - Direct Tax with expertise in Search & Seizure, Domestic Tax Laws, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of direct tax regulations, litigation, and advisory, with strong experience in handling tax audits, assessments, and disputes. Key Responsibilities: - Search & Seizure Handling: Lead and manage cases involving search & seizure, ensuring compliance and strategic response. - Domestic Taxation & Compliance: Oversee direct tax compliance, advisory, and planning for clients. - Tax Litigation & Representation: Represent clients before tax authorities, tribunals, and courts in assessment and appellate matters. - Tax Audit & Advisory: Conduct tax audits, evaluate tax positions, and provide expert tax planning strategies. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with income tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and evolving tax frameworks. - Stakeholder Management: Liaise with regulatory authorities, legal teams, and senior management for tax-related matters. - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of tax professionals to deliver high-quality tax solutions. Key Skills & Requirements: - Educational Qualification: CA/LLB preferred with 8+ years of experience in Direct Tax. - Expertise: Strong knowledge of search & seizure cases, litigation, and domestic tax laws. - Experience: Prior experience in tax consulting, Big 4, or a reputed CA firm. - Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing, and Tax Treaties. - Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact with tax authorities, clients, and internal stakeholders. - Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic tax solutions. Preferred Experience: Experience in managing large corporate tax litigation and disputes. Exposure to High Court and Supreme Court tax matters. Understanding of international taxation is a plus.
