Manager/Senior Manager - Compliance - BFSI

We are hiring Compliance Manager/ Sr. Manager

Location - Andheri (Marol)

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and ensure compliance with RBI Directions for NBFCs, including periodic returns, reporting obligations, policy reviews, fair practices framework, outsourcing guidelines, and consumer protection standards.

2. Oversee compliance with KYC, AML and CFT regulations including customer due diligence, screening, transaction monitoring, alerts review, and suspicious transaction reporting (STR) to FIU.

3. Review and update internal policies, manuals, SOPs and compliance frameworks to reflect new regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

4. Coordinate and manage internal/external audits, statutory inspections, and regulatory interactions; track open observations and support timely closure.

5. Support development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk and Governance framework including GRC structure, risk dashboards and compliance testing.

6. Conduct periodic compliance reviews and control testing across business, operations and technology functions.

7. Maintain compliance registers including regulatory circular tracker, outsourcing register, complaints register and risk register.

8. Ensure regulatory reporting is accurate, timely and supported with appropriate evidence.

9. Evaluate outsourcing arrangements and vendor compliance from RBI and IT governance perspective.

10. Conduct training and awareness programs for employees and business teams on compliance, AML/KYC, data privacy, information security and governance.

11. Assist in reviewing customer agreements, disclosures, and marketing content to ensure regulatory alignment.

12. Investigate compliance breaches or exceptions and support corrective actions.

13. Preserve confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- CA/CS/MBA/LLB preferred) with previous experience in compliance or internal audit

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in NBFC, fintech, banking or financial regulatory compliance.
