Job Summary:
The Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits will lead the design, implementation, and governance of compensation, rewards, and benefits programs for India operations of a global investment banking firm. This role will partner closely with global HR teams, business leaders, and regional compensation teams to ensure competitive, compliant, and market-aligned C&B practices that attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Operations:
- Lead annual compensation cycles including budgeting, salary reviews, bonus planning, and incentive programs.
- Partner with global C&B counterparts to align India compensation practices with global frameworks.
- Conduct detailed compensation benchmarking, market analysis, and pay competitiveness assessments.
- Manage and enhance compensation structures, job leveling, and internal equity frameworks for India.
Benefits & Rewards Management:
- Oversee employee benefits programs including health insurance, wellness programs, retirement benefits, and other perks.
- Evaluate and optimize benefit offerings to ensure market competitiveness and cost efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration and ensure service excellence.
- MBA in HR / Masters in Human Resources .
- 10-15 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in Investment Banking, BFSI, or global MNCs.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and HR analytics tools.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian labor laws, taxation, and compensation best practices.
- Experience with global compensation cycles and HR systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.
