About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber, commercially-minded Finance professional to join our core team. This is not a traditional accounting or bookkeeping role; it is a high-visibility, balance sheet-driven position. You will partner directly with business heads, Treasury, Risk, and senior stakeholders to optimize financial performance, capital allocation, and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate possesses a rare combination of a rock-solid finance/governance backbone alongside a strategic, forward-looking commercial orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Balance Sheet Strategy & Linkages: Maintain comprehensive ownership of balance sheet drivers, evaluating movements, stress testing, and establishing crisp linkages to P&L, capital, and liquidity.

- Commercial Impact & Profitability: Drive quantifiable business outcomes, including margin improvements, funding cost optimization, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework strategies, and capital/RWA efficiency.

- Senior Stakeholder Partnering: Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior business leadership; translate complex financial, risk, and treasury topics into clear, actionable commercial strategies.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across Treasury (liquidity, funding), Corporate Risk, FP&A, and Business Units to influence core operational decisions.

- Controls & Assurance Backbone: Champion internal governance; evaluate risk systems, lead/collaborate through audit cycles, speak confidently to internal controls, and proactively address data or process remediation gaps.

What We Are Looking For (Must-Haves):

- Elite Pedigree: MBA from a top-tier business school (IIT/IIM preferred) or a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Core Experience: 4 to 6 years of deep experience across Corporate Treasury (Liquidity, FTP, Funding), Commercial FP&A, Corporate Risk, or specialized Financial Control / Big 4 Audit with a heavy commercial orientation.

- Communication Excellence: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skillsproven capability to brief and confidently influence senior leadership and CXO-level stakeholders.

- Data & Analytics Orientation: Highly analytical mindset with the ability to look beyond the numbers to uncover the "so what" behind financial trends.

Who This Role Is NOT For:

- Pure/Traditional Accountants: This role is not for candidates whose primary experience is limited to day-to-day bookkeeping, General Ledger (GL) maintenance, core tax compliance (GST/Direct Tax), or standard payroll processing.

- Pure Opex/Cost-focused FP&A: Candidates whose experience is exclusively limited to revenue and expense (Opex) management without exposure to Balance Sheet drivers, capital management, liquidity, or funding are not suitable for this position.

- Experience Mismatch: This role is optimized for professionals with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Please do not apply if you are a fresher or a senior professional with 8+ years of experience.

- Limited Stakeholder Exposure: This role requires active partnership with business heads and senior leadership. It is not suitable for those whose experience is strictly back-end or operationally focused without direct interaction and influence with business stakeholders.
