Role Summary:
We are looking for a self-driven professional responsible for new merchant acquisition and revenue generation. This is a high-impact hunting role, requiring strong prospecting, deal closing, and solution selling skills.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in B2B sales, merchant onboarding, and digital payment solutions, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets in competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for payment gateway solutions.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new merchants, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outreach activities and networking.
- Manage complete end to end business development cycle
- Engage with CXOs and business decision-makers to design tailored payment solutions.
- Track competition, market trends, and industry opportunities to strengthen positioning.
- Achieve monthly & quarterly sales, activation, and transaction-volume targets.
- Maintain updated forecasts, sales reports, and CRM documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-6 years of B2B sales experience in fintech / payment gateway / merchant acquisition / POS / banking / SaaS.
- Proven success in new business development role with strong revenue and acquisition achievements.
- Strong knowledge of digital payments, merchant onboarding, and financial technology ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with high ownership & results orientation.
- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
