What Youll Do :
1. Financial Planning & Strategic Leadership :
- Partner with supply chain stakeholders to build and manage AOP, budgets, and rolling forecasts, ensuring financial discipline and actionable insights on cost and efficiency.
- Provide senior leadership with actionable insights on actual vs plan performance, risks, and opportunities
- Drive financial governance and decision-making across supply chain functions
2. Cost Management & COGS Optimization :
- Oversee standard costing, cost roll-ups, and periodic cost revisions across product categories
- Drive deep variance analysis across materials, manufacturing, and logistics to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve gross margins and control cost leakages
3. Profitability & Margin Expansion :
- Drive product-level cost and margin analysis, highlighting variances across procurement, production, and distribution to unlock cost-saving opportunities.
- Highlight inefficiencies, unusual trends, and actionable insights to drive business performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement margin expansion initiatives
4. Inventory, Assets & Operational Efficiency :
- Ensure accuracy and governance of inventory valuation, reserves (SLOB), and fixed asset accounting
- Monitor key operational metrics such as yield, wastage, and capacity utilization
- Drive efficiency improvements across manufacturing and supply chain operations
5. Supply Chain Cost Optimization (E2E) :
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain costs including freight, warehousing, and manufacturing
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities across procurement, production, and distribution
- Build cost visibility frameworks and dashboards for better decision-making
6. Strategic Projects & Business Partnering :
- Lead financial evaluation and modeling for new product launches, capex decisions, and strategic initiatives
- Act as a strategic finance partner to supply chain, procurement, and operations leadership
7. Controls, Compliance & Process Excellence :
- Strengthen financial controls, processes, and governance across supply chain finance
- Ensure audit readiness, compliance, and accuracy in financial reporting
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
Who You Are :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) - First Attempt Pass-out (Mandatory)
- Proven experience in Business Finance within D2C, FMCG, or consumer-driven businesses
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain finance, costing, or business finance roles
- Proven team leadership and people management experience, with the ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of profitability levers, pricing, and channel economics
