In this pivotal role, you will serve as the financial backbone for business units, translating complex data into actionable strategic insights.

You will partner closely with cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Operations, and Product heads, to drive profitability and operational efficiency. By spearheading financial planning and rigorous P&L management, you will directly influence the companys growth trajectory and ensure that our resource allocation aligns with long-term value creation for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure financial discipline and alignment with organizational goals.

- Own the P&L management for specific business verticals, identifying levers for margin expansion and cost optimization to improve bottom-line performance.

- Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and investment decisions for senior management.

- Conduct deep-dive variance analysis to track actual performance against budgets, providing clear explanations and corrective action plans to leadership.

- Partner with department heads to provide decision-support analytics that drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.

- Streamline financial reporting frameworks to enhance visibility into key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making across the firm.

The Role:

As a Business Finance Lead you will be the strategic co-pilot to the leadership teams for functional growth of a vertical.

You will own the P&L, optimise capital allocations, and work side-by-side with the central business and Finance team to drive profitability.

What Youll Do:

- Own the P&L: Drive financial planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting for all the finance operations for the business team.

- Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with business team to build robust cost-benefit frameworks.

- Get Your Boots Muddy: Travel to our key operational nodes (2030% travel) to audit processes, understand operational bottlenecks first-hand, and convert ground reality into financial strategy.

- Drive Cost Optimisation: Identify leakages and turn those insights into costs saved for the business units.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 6 - 10 years of professional experience in business finance, financial planning, and analysis within a fast-paced corporate environment.

- Hold a professional qualification such as a CA.
